Dispatches from the Box Shop: New Team Members and Equipment!

Dear Friends of Taylor Box Company,

We have great news to share with you on a number of subjects:

We are pleased to announce that Shelly Bean has joined the company as a field sales packaging consultant.

Shelly comes to us after an extensive career with Mohawk Paper. Her knowledge of paper and the marketing world will put her in good stead to assist clients with their packaging design and production. Over the past few months Shelly has been hands on, working throughout our many departments in an immersive experience that will give her valuable insights she will be putting to work for her clients. As of May, we also have a new packaging expert on board, Bill Henry!

After almost 20 years working for Ecological Fibers, Bill will be taking his deep knowledge of premium and luxury rigid paperboard packaging to designers, brand consultants, creative agencies, and product managers. Packaging is a small world, and we have already heard from many how excited you are to discover that Bill will be available to collaborate on your upcoming package development projects. Our focus on being great design collaborators has become a trademark strength of our company. So, we are very excited to announce that Nancy Correia will be joining us as our Design and Engineering Manager.

Nancy’s work in packaging spans over 20 years working for Abbott-Action Container, where she built out their initial in-house design center; and Packaging Consultants where she worked in corrugated, folding cartons, rigid paperboard boxes and plastic. She has a deep knowledge of the design process and skills that extend to all of the packaging design software including Artios, Solidworks, and Adobe Creative Suite. Her mission is to bring her organizational skills, practical knowledge and expertise to take our award-winning studio to the next level. (Contact nancy@taylorbox.com)

Finally, we are excited with the installation of our new Emmeci large format MC2001 laminator-case maker.

With best in class precision sheet to sheet lamination and the additional case folding unit on the end; this will provide our customers with even more product design opportunities.

I hope that you will have a chance to meet the new members of our team in your offices, at the various trade and conference events or when you come to visit.

Thank you very much for your continued consideration,

Best regards,

Dan Shedd, President & CEO
